Annotate PDF

Review a document the way you would on paper. Your marks are saved as real PDF annotations, so colleagues see them as comments in Acrobat, Preview, Edge, Chrome and other readers — and can reply or remove them.

Frequently asked questions

Will other people see my comments?

Yes. Highlights, underlines, strikethroughs, drawings, boxes, arrows and sticky notes are standard PDF annotations with their own appearance, so they show up in every common PDF reader, usually in its comments list too.

Why can I not highlight text on some pages?

Text tools need real text in the PDF. Scanned pages are pictures — use the pen or boxes there.

Can I change a mark after placing it?

Yes, until you save: click it with “Select and move” to move it, change its colour or comment, or delete it. Undo and redo (Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y) are available too.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser.
